New Site

New Website!

After some kerfuffle with the hosting provider I used to use for my site I decided it was a good time to create a new blog. It’s been nearly five years since I last posted to my old blog, so maybe it makes sense to start again. Rather than just run WordPress this time I decided to use Astro - which true to its word has a great developer experience. Although, it did involve a certain amount of yak shaving!

But, yay! New website is up. You can measure the volume of yak shaving in the 11 days it took from my first test post, to this one, announcing the site is actually live! lol

Will I post more frequently to this one? Who knows. But at least I have a new home on the web and astro let’s me feel relatively in control of exactly how everything works and appears. Now I just need to generate some content…
